Vision
God desires relationship and interaction with His creation. Loving God and loving others is the fulfillment of the Commandments and allows for the release of heaven into earth. Caring for one another, partnering in life's journey and experiencing God's love in practical ways is what we are all about. Nothing is as important as love... the simple act of kindness towards all.
We Believe
We believe there is one God existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is God's only begotten Son conceived by the Holy Spirit through His virgin birth living a sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitution atoning death, resurrection and ascension into Heaven where He makes perpetual intercession for His people and in His personal, visible return to earth. We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error. We also believe in baptism by immersion and that communion is open to all believers.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Five Rivers Vineyard is based upon scripture. In Ephesians 4:11-16, we are encouraged to strengthen the saints through Relationship, Ownership and Stewardship.
Relationship
- Knowing our Father God in a personal way, how much He loves us as individuals and how to come into relationship with the Creator of Heaven and earth.
- Learning to walk in love for God and with ourselves so we can be free to love others.
- Growing in our understanding of partnering together as the body of Christ locally and globally in reaching our destinies as we journey together on earth.
Ownership
- Realizing we all have ownership in the purposes of God in walking out the Great Commission as we join together pushing back darkness so His light can reach the lost.
- That we can accomplish greater works when we join together in a common love of God and others.
Stewardship
- That we are called to walk in power as ministers of Christ with signs and wonders following us bringing demonstration to the word of God in a fallen world.
- That we all will give account when Christ returns as to how we used our talents and gifts on earth to empower the church to become God's perfect Bride
